Festival Day 3

Today we got up early again to see the 8:30 showing of Wildlife, and it was amazing! It starred Jake Gyllenhaal and Carey Mulligan as a couple whose marriage falls apart after they move to Montana with their son. The performances were amazing, and it’s my favorite film I’ve seen so far.

Later we went to the American Pavilion to get a coffee and a croissant and plan our next film to see. We chose 2 Hours from Paris, a cute French film about a mother and daughter who go on a journey to find the daughter’s biological father. 

Then we got in line 2 hours early to see Ryan Coogler. Everyone from our group got into the talk, and it was so incredible to be able to see him speak about his different films. I especially liked when he talked about his use of sound and music in Black Panther. The Weeknd was also there which was super cool! Overall it was a really fun day!
