Festival Day 9

I started the day by finishing my assignment for Professor Springston’s class. It didn’t take too long and I got to research one of my favorite films of the previous year, Dunkirk. Once I finished I headed to Cannes to catch the showing of Cold War. 

We were super excited to see this film so we got there 2 hours early to make sure we would get a seat. We were the second people in line so we didn’t worry at all about not getting in. Unfortunately a lot of people with priority badges (who get into the screening first) showed up at the last minute and got into the film before us. The theater filled up too quickly, so we had to leave without seeing the film. We were pretty disappointed but we went to McDonald’s to eat lunch and cheer up!

I didn’t want to go back to JLP without seeing a film, so we stayed to see a film called Sofia. It wasn’t my favorite, but I’m glad I got to see at least one film today!
